He was president of VB from April 2000 until May 2018. Graduated in Business Administration by the Fundação Álvares Penteado (FAAP), with specialization courses at INSEAD, in France, and by the Fundação Dom Cabral, in Minas Gerais, André Martins was president of the Lide Jovem, a group of young executives and entrepreneurs, until December 2013, and he still is a member of the Business Council of the Instituto Ayrton Senna.
Apart from that, André has been playing the role as an investor in startups since 2008, whilst investing in companies such as Ponto de Contato, Fintech ContaUm, PetiteBox, and he has cofounded SuperJobs Ventures.
SuperJobs is a venture capital firm with a focus on investments of high impact.
Their proposal is to invest in differentiated people and startups that bring innovative solutions about for real problems and with a great potential of scale. Given the entrepreneurial background of the managers, the fund is already known for its ‘hands-on’ approach, as all partners perform in close proximity to the entrepreneurs of the investee companies, whilst assisting in the strategy of growth and leading future rounds of investment
